Anne:
I have been learning Japanese from Global Language and Culture Educational Services for more than a year and, although I still have a long way to go to be fluent in Japanese, I feel I am making good progress. My teacher is always encouraging and presents us with interesting and challenging work. I am beginning to feel much more confident with many aspects of the language, including reading, writing, speaking and thinking in Japanese. I also enjoy the cultural studies and calligraphy lessons.
I have already visited Japan and hope that on my next trip I will be able to communicate much more confidently.

KAT:
I started with GLAC to better understand and appreciate anime and manga in their original Japanese forms. With the knowledge learnt during my time studying with GLAC I have been able to understand these on a deeper level in regard to meanings of names, etc. This has also helped understand characters better for Cosplay.
The studies explored all different parts of Japanese culture/language so the classes were always new and interesting. Everything was set out in an easy to understand manner whilst also keeping up to the current level of knowledge/skills.
I would highly recommend GLAC to anyone interested in Japanese language/culture.

ROBERT:
"I appreciate the friendly manner and respect the professional knowledge of the staff at Global Language and Culture. Thanks to the learning I did with Global, I am now better able to communicate with Japanese people on my regular trips to Japan. As a potter, I spend much time visiting workshops in Kyushu and have been able to employ my skills and cultural knowledge when interacting with masters of Japanese pottery during my travels there. Domo arigato!" (Robert Davies, Undermanager, Mannering Colliery)

ALISTER:
"Learning Japanese from Global Language & Culture was extremely useful and great fun. We of course covered the Japanese language, but we also covered various elements of Japanese culture that only someone with a deep knowledge of the Japanese way of life could impart. I'm prepared now for living and working in Kyoto University, Japan.Subarashi-desu!!" (Alister Page, PhD)

MARDI:
"Being a primary school teacher looking to teach in Japan, I found Global Language & Culture's lessons of both the written and spoken Japanese language great. It has provided me with knowledge that I think will be invaluable in both social and professional situations in Japan. Yatta!" (Mardi Burrows, NSW School Teacher)

STEVE:
“I hoped to pick up a few basic conversational tip’s to get me by whilst traveling in Hokkaido, but from the structured methods used by GLAC I gained a good grounding in reading and writing as well. But the most notable advantage I found with GLAC was the passion and experience of the presenters which immersed me in Japanese culture comparable with being there.” (Steve Mackaway, Product Manager DYWIDAG-Systems International Australian Mining Products Division )

EBONY:
"The Japanese lessons which I receive from Global Language and Culture have proven to be extremely beneficial to me and my goals of further educating my knowledge of the Japanese language and culture. The skills I have acquired assist me in my current role as a flight attendant and aid as a key to opening up new doors which will create further opportunities for me and my future." (Ebony Sykes, flight attendant)

JYE:
"I approached GLAC with the intentions of developing my japanese
language skills in reading, writing, and speaking. I have been quite impressed with the teaching of the course and the knowledge gained so far. In the short term I wanted to appreciate Anime and Manga without English translations, and in the long term use my new found skills when I travel to Japan. GLAC has exceeded my expectations and exposed me to the Japanese culture through music, food, and calligraphy. I can highly recommend GLAC to anyone who has a passion for Japanese culture and wants to learn more!" (Jye Mitchell, Otakujin)
